Meet a few of our horses

 
Here are some of our babies with some of our mares.  They are a real multi-coloured and fun bunch!

 


Miss Golden Docolena was bought by us in 2005 and she is one of Debbie's personal horses.  Golden is a beautiful 14.2hh registered APHA palomino Mare.  She is beautifully trained and this makes her a real pleasure to ride. 

 


Jets Coul Moon was bought by us back in 2005.  Jet is one of Debbie's personal horses.  He is another very well bred AQHA gelding standing at 15.2hh. He is well trained and his aim in life is to please you! He is very obedient and quietly does any job asked of him. He enjoys working with cattle and does so in a very calm manner.  Jet has proved his worth time and time again over the years and is totally priceless.

Ezzy
BH Ezzy Breezin was bought by us when he was a foal in 2005.  He is a 15hh registered APHA and is an absolute delight. He has the most wonderful personality and is genuinely an incredibly quiet and well mannered horse. Ezzy is another of Debbie's personal mounts.  We can do anything with this horse as he is such an absolute treasure to handle. Before he was gelded he sired three beautiful foals. He's a lovely horse to have a leisurely trail ride on.
Spirit is a lovely mare.  We bought Spirit in 2007 and she has proven that she is invaluable to us.  She has been very successful as a hunter/jumper and is equally happy riding out on the trails with riders of any experience.  She is very laid back and an easy and sensible mare to ride. We keep Spirit for our friends and family to ride as she is such a good girl at looking after her riders.

Spring Feather is one of our registered TB mares.  Spring is approved by both RPSI and GOV and is entered in their Main Mare Books.  We bought Spring in 2009 as one of our foundation broodmares to produce quality WBs.  Spring is in foal by the stunning and impressive Hanoverian hunter stallion Romantic Star and is due to foal in April 2011.

 

 


Perfectlyrequested is one of our other registered TB mares.  We bought PR in 2009 as one of our foundation broodmares.  PR is approved by RPSI and GOV and is entered into both Main Mare Books.  PR foaled a beautiful and very rare foal in 2010, a pure white registered Thoroughbred filly, one of only 9 to be born in Ontario and only the 106th since the Jockey Club started keeping records in 1894.  PR also had the 1st pure white registered TB foal in Illinois back in 2006, so her 2010 filly is her second white foal.  PR is confirmed in foal to the Hanoverian hunter stallion, Romantic Star, and will be due to foal in June 2011.

Perfectly Puchi is our adorable new addition.  She was born on the 12th April 2010 and is a very special filly.  She is pure white and is the 9th white JC registered Thoroughbred to be born in Ontario and the 106th in the whole world since the Jockey Club started keeping records in 1894.  Puchi's dam is the beautiful reg. black TB mare Perfectlyrequested (Comedian x Perfectly Guilty) and is by the very unusual reg. TB stallion Chet DT (Puchilingui x Bet the Rent).

 
Cloud is our dearly loved little 12.2hh Connemara British pony who flew 3,500 miles to remain as part of our family. We have owned Cloud since 1997 and she will be with us forever. She is just the most perfect pony and we all absolutely adore her.
Pacific Shadow is one of our registered Thoroughbred mares.  She is a rare bay sabino and is very friendly and is exceptionally gentle.  She has lovely movement and is a nice sensible ride.  Shadow is confirmed in foal to the beautiful Hanoverian hunter stallion, Westporte, and is due to foal in June 2011.

Shabian's Sureshot is our 15hh Appaloosa gelding with distinctive leopard spot markings. The friendliest guy you could hope to meet.  He enjoys love and attention.  Sureshot broke a fore cannon bone back in 2008 so is no longer rideable however he is quite happy to live his life playing and grazing with his friends.

Pal is our delightful 33 year old QH.  He is an incredible old man as at this great old age he shows absolutely no signs of arthritis and loves to still go out for rides.  He has less than a handful of teeth left but he manages to do well with grass in the summer and we feed him special feed and top quality soft hay in the winter.  We took in Pal back in 2008 as he was severely under weight.  We fed Pal a suitable diet and he put on over 400lbs in weight over a period of 3 months.  He continues to need extra special feeding to hold his weight.  He is happy old man and takes good care of our herd of youngsters.
Smokeys Lil Star is a superbly bred AQHA mare.  We bought Smokey in 2006 as a very timid young filly.  She is a very quietly affectionate mare with people she knows well.
Legacy was born and bred at Meadowland.  She is the daughter of Cloud and Ezzy so she is a rather special girl.  She was born in 2007 and she is totally laid back and at ease with the world. 
Cruisin Actor is a registered ApHCC gelding.  Cruise was raised by Megan from when he was a little foal.  He is a total sweetheart and she has taught him lots of tricks.  He's a great little trail horse and she has loads of fun with him.  Cruise is one of Megan's personal horses and Cruise will be embarking on his competition career in 2011 when he turns 4 years old.
Cowboy is a lovely dapple grey Hanoverian/TB gelding.  He is Megan's personal horse.  They are both competing hunter/jumper this year and are progressing very well. 
Peppys Smokin Tivio is an adorable registered AQHA foal, out of our lovely mare Smokeys Lil Star and by our sweet guy Badgers Buenolena.  "Smudge" as he is known, is a beautifully marked grullo colt, complete with some amazing zebra stripes and thick dorsal.  He is a very calm foal and takes everything in his stride.
